Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between the delegations of the DPRK Information Committee and the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos here on Wednesday.

Present there from the DPRK side were members of the delegation of the DPRK Information Committee led by Minister of Culture An Tong Chun, chairman of the committee, and from the opposite side members of the delegation of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos led by its Minister Bosengkham Vongdara and Lao Ambassador to the DPRK Chaleune Warinthrasak.

At the talks both sides discussed the issue of boosting the relations of exchange and cooperation between the two countries in the information and cultural fields.
