Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in a press conference on October 7 rejected the West's unreasonable demand on his country.

"The West is constantly laying down certain conditions to us -- political prisoners, privatization," he said. He denied the West-touted political prisoners and any serious economic crisis in his country.

Belarus will settle its problems by itself, he stressed, demanding the West not interfere in its internal affairs so that the Belarusian people should live peacefully.
