Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The movement for solidarity with Cuba has been intensified in Latin America.

A meeting for solidarity with Cuba was held in the capital of Mexico from October 6 to 9 with delegates of 30 countries in the region attending.

A declaration which was adopted at the meeting exposed the unreasonableness of the "Cuban Adjustment Act" which has forced and stimulated Cuban illegal immigration to the United States. It demanded the U.S. administration end the Act at once.

It also demanded an immediate and unconditional release of five Cubans jailed in the United States since 1998.
