Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The Myanmar authorities arrested 229 narcotic-drug offenders in connection with 156 related cases exposed in September this year.

Seized along with the drug culprits were 0.122 kg heroin, 4.95 kg opium, 2.08 kg marijuana as well as more than 700,000 stimulant tablets, the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control said on October 9.
