Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- Jong Sol Gyo, a progressive poet of south Korea, posted on an Internet paper an article titled "GIs, the occupation forces, and Women" on October 10.

The article recalled that the U.S. forces have so far brought all sorts of misfortunes to south Korean women by sexually abusing them as they pleased since the moment they landed in south Korea.

GIs' sexual assaults committed in Seoul and Tongduchon of Kyonggi Province were extremely bizarre and cruel crimes, the article said, and went on:

This being a hard fact, the authorities dare not punish GIs under the pretext of the unequal "SOFA" and, on the contrary, are sheltering the criminals.

It is the reality that the authorities have no right to investigate GIs' sexual assaults against girl students of south Korea.

The U.S. forces should not be allowed to stay in south Korea any longer, it held.

The south Korean rulers are steeped in sycophancy towards the U.S. to the marrow of their bones as they are not in a position to protect teen-age girls.

Let all Koreans turn out as one in the struggle to drive the U.S. forces for peace, chanting the slogan "GI criminals, quit this land".

The U.S. forces are the root cause of all evils.
