Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- Cha Sang Bo, vice-chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China, issued a statement titled "Let's defeat

the group of traitors once again" on October 6.

The statement said that the election to Seoul mayor will be held on October 26 in south Korea.

The south Korean group of traitors are making desperate efforts to retrieve its big defeats in the election to local self-governing bodies in June last year and the by-election in April this year and retain the office of the Seoul mayor.

The coming election will offer a momentum for judging the present regime and the "Grand National Party" for their treacherous and anti-reunification crimes, the statement said, and continued:

It is the unanimous desire of the south Korean people and the urgent demand of the June 15 era of independent reunification to politically marginalize the present regime and the GNP engrossed in anti-reunification and treacherous acts, corruption and irregularities.

The upcoming election to Seoul mayor will be a site of showdown for terminating the fascist dictatorship, preserving peace and adhering to and implementing the June 15 era.

Therefore, the south Korean people should inflict a bitter defeat once again on the GNP going against the nation in the election.

The general federation and the Koreans in China will turn out in the righteous struggle to check and foil the plots of the group of traitors through alliance and solidarity with the south Koreans and completely drive the anti-reunification and treacherous group out of political circle.
