Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The 3rd plenary session of the 11th Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) closed in Hanoi on Tuesday.

The plenary session discussed such economic issues as increasing investment in three main sectors and reforming banking facilities, including commercial banks.

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in his closing speech called upon the whole party to pay much effort to implementing two important tasks -- socio-economic development and party building.

He underlined the need to properly set tasks and goals for carrying out the 2011-2015 socio-economic development plan so as to promote the economic development in quality and quantity and achieve social equality and justice.
