Cairo, October 13 (KCNA) -- Egypt reaps incomes through its Suez Canal.

Egypt's Suez Canal garnered 3.9 billion U.S. dollars in the first nine months of this year, slightly more than the same period last year, according to the Suez Canal Authority.

The waterway's revenue in September hit 438.3 million dollars, up 6.9 percent year-on-year but down 7.3 percent from August.
