Beijing, October 13 (KCNA) -- Li Keqiang, vice-premier of the Chinese State Council, called for paying much effort to improving the people's living standard.

During his recent inspection tour of Hunan Province, Li said improving the people's living is an important task of governments at all levels.

They should pay attention to solving the educational, housing, medical service and other issues related to the people's living in towns and villages, true to the instructions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and the State Council, he added.
