Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Political parties and organizations in Peru published bulletins on Oct. 6 on the occasions of the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 85th anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.

The Peruvian National Independent Movement for Free Voting's Union in its bulletin carried an article titled "Comrade Kim Jong Il and the Workers' Party of Korea" with photos of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

It said:

The WPK is the party which is guided by the Juche idea and inherited the revolutionary tradition of the anti-Japanese struggle.

It is a political headquarters organizing and leading the revolutionary struggle and construction in a coordinated manner.

It has developed into an authoritative and dignified party guiding the popular masses' cause of independence to victory under the wise leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

He has led the party to hold fast to the revolutionary idea of the President as a unique guiding idea since he started his work at the Central Committee of the Party and steered the struggle to defend socialism to victory with original Songun politics, the bulletin noted.

It praised the feats Kim Jong Il has performed by building the WPK into the party deeply rooted among broad masses and a mother party taking care of the people's destiny in a responsible manner.

The Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism carried articles titled "66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, secret of its all victories", "Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the WPK, popular party", and the "Down-with-Imperialism Union" illustrated with photos of the President and Kim Jong Il and photos on the Korean people's drive for building an economic power.
