Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain, issued a statement on Oct. 6 on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Saying that the glorious history of the WPK is recorded with the revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, he went on:

The flag of the WPK is dyed with the blood shed by the revolutionary martyrs in the sacred struggle to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche started by the President and defend socialist Korea.

The WPK has firmly defended socialism under the uplifted red flag.

The world revolutionary people are pleased to have such a party.

The future of Korea will be brighter as it is giving steady continuity to the revolutionary spirit of Mt. Paektu.

Neither difficulty nor trial can ever block the advance of the DPRK as it has Kim Jong Il, the greatest and illustrious strategist, and army and people closely rallied around him.

Unbreakable is the single-minded unity of the DPRK.
