Kim Jong Il's Revolutionary Activities Reported in Different Countries

Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Media of Bangladesh and the Czech Republic reported the revolutionary activities of leader Kim Jong Il. The Bangladeshi newspaper Natun Katha on Oct. 9 said that Kim Jong Il provided field guidance to the Ryongjon Fruit Farm. It went on: He noted with satisfaction that the working people of the farm created orchards in hundreds hectares of plain by themselves by planting small fruit frees of good species to be widely known in the country and now trees laden with all kinds of fruits presenting spectacular scenery. He said that the farm proved in practice the validity and vitality of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy of pomiculture by creating and taking good care of the orchards put on modern and scientific basis at a high level as required by the new century. Noting that the farm has an important role to play in developing the nation's fruit farming, he set forth tasks to be carried by it in its operation. He also enjoyed an art performance given by artistes of Pukchong County at the cultural hall of the farm. On the same day the Bangladeshi newspaper Ekota carried news of his field guidance to the Tanchon Magnesia Factory and the construction site of Tanchon Port. The Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea and the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association on Oct. 7 posted on its joint Internet homepage "Korea-Mt. Paektu" a report on his on-the-spot guidance to the Raknang Disabled Soldiers' Essential Plastic Goods Factory and the Phyongsong Synthetic Leather Factory. |
