Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Eassa Qaraqea, the Palestinian minister of prisoners affairs, on Thursday urged the Arab League to exercise pressure on Israel to meet the prisoners' demands and apply the issue to the International Criminal Court.

Qaraqea, who attended the AL meeting, told "Voice of Palestine" Radio that Palestinian prisoners continued their gradual hunger strike in Israeli jails, which began on Sept. 28 in protest against Israel's tightened measures.
