Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Mass demonstrations were staged against the wrong economic policy of the authorities in France on Tuesday.

A large number of people including about 20 000 Parisians participated in demonstrations against the lay-off program released by the government recently under the pretext of decreasing the deficit.

The demonstrators blamed the financial businesses for the financial crisis in the country and strongly demanded the authorities not to bring the burden upon the shoulders of the working people.
