Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly Kim Yong Nam, Premier Choe Yong Rim and other senior party and state officials and officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Cabinet, ministries, national institutions and social organizations visited the technologically updated Tudan Duck Farm on Sunday.

The farm was successfully updated as a large meat production and processing center under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The visitors laid bouquets before the mosaic depicting President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

They were briefed on the modernization of the farm.

Going round dozens of duck houses, an incubation room, open-air ground for duck, production base of ferment food and animal protein feed, duck smoke house, production process of organic compound fertilizer and methane gas, scientific and technological information center and other places of the farm, they were struck with admiration at the large duck producer which has been put on an automation and computer basis and where cultured practices in production and life are on a high level.

They enjoyed an art performance given by art squad members of the Pyongyang Poultry Guidance Bureau at the cosy cultural house of the farm.
