Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification released an article titled "Let us reunify the country by federal formula, fair, realistic and reasonable one" on Oct. 10, on the 31st anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo (DFRK).

Noting that the proposal for founding the DFRK has fully demonstrated its vitality and commanded unanimous support at home and abroad since the publication of the June 15 joint declaration, the article said:

President Kim Il Sung advanced the proposal for reunifying Korea by founding the DFRK which calls for establishing a unified national government on the condition that the north and the south recognize and tolerate each other's ideas and social systems, a government in which the two sides are represented on an equal footing and under which they exercise regional autonomy with equal rights and duties.

This is the most fair, realistic and reasonable proposal which can be sympathized and accepted by anyone who loves the nation and desires the reunification of the country irrespective of ideology and political view.

The will of the nation to independently and peacefully reunify the country in the spirit of "By our nation itself" is becoming stronger as the days go by.

The struggle for implementing the south-north joint declaration and anti-"government" struggle are mounting despite the anti-DPRK confrontation moves of the present "government".

The article called upon all the people to punish the present "government" with a great alliance against conservatism and wage dynamic actions to set up a progressive and democratic government.
