Teheran, October 16 (KCNA) -- Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Seyed Ali Khamenei, addressing a meeting on October 12, sharply criticized the suppression of protesters in the U.S.

The U.S. administration professing "freedom" and "democracy" is harshly suppressing protesters in its own country, he said. No suppression can ever stop the massive protest against the corrupt and ailing capitalist system, he added.

The capitalist system in the U.S. and the West is in big trouble on its way to ruin, he stressed.
