Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The French Communist Party (FCP) Wednesday condemned the U.S. for preventing Cuban antiterrorist fighter Rene Gonzalez from returning to his country, after unfairly serving 13 years in prison in the United States.

Rene must remain in Florida under supervision for three years without reuniting with his mother and his wife, said the FCP in a communique.

The communique denounced the double standard of the U.S. which condemns the five young Cubans, adding but, on the other hand, it protects terrorists such as Luis Posada Carriles, mastermind of various terrorist acts including the mid-flight blow-up of a Cubana de Aviacion airplane in 1976, which killed 73 people onboard.
