Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Buddhist Jogye Order called a press conference in Seoul on Oct. 14 to censure the Ministry of Unification for its irresponsible deed.

he ministry disallowed the organization's application for participation in the joint event with the north but changed this stand in two hours.

Recalling this fact, speakers at the conference said they could not but call to task such behavior of the authorities who willfully judged the important affair for reunification. The ministry has repeated such wicked practices, they charged.

This is a typical example showing the stand and attitude taken by the present "government" toward the matters of reunification and south-north exchange, they said.

They urged the minister of Unification to apologize over the recent case, take steps to prevent repeat of such practice and totally allow non-governmental exchanges with the north.
