Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- Valerie Amos, UN under secretary general for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief coordinator, and her party arrived here Monday.

They were greeted at the airport by Pak Kil Yon, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Jerome Sauvage, representative of the Office of U.N. Resident Coordinator and Resident Representative of the UNDP to the DPRK, Claudia Von Roehl, representative of the World Food Programme Office in the DPRK, and Bijaya Rajbhandari, representative of the Office of the United Nations Children's Fund in the DPRK.
