Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea issued a commentary on October 14 denouncing the puppet authorities for their suppression of youth and students.

The commentary accused the police of taking such fascist action as searching houses of four students and graduates of Hanyang University on the same day.

This is aimed at putting down the students' daily mounting struggle to have the issue of registration fee settled and stamping out the progressive youth and student movement on the charge of violation of the "National Security Law."

The struggle of the students who turned out in the actions for solution to the issue of registration fee braving police's firing of water cannons and arrest is supported by the people.

The wholesale crackdown upon this struggle was kicked off by a fascist action against students and graduates of the university.

This, however, will lead to the collapse of the regime, the commentary warned.
