Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- The DPRK government Monday gave a banquet in honor of the governor of Amur Region of the Russian Federation and his party on a visit to the DPRK.

Present there on invitation were Governor of Amur Region Oleg Kozhemyako and his party, Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Valery Sukhinin and his embassy officials.

Present there were Vice-Premier Kang Sok Ju, Minister of Foreign Trade Ri Ryong Nam, First Vice-Minister of Electric Power Industry Kim Man Su, DPRK Consul-General in Nakhodka of the Russian Federation Sim Kuk Ryong and officials concerned.

Speeches were made at the banquet.
