Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Round-table talks and lectures took place in Austria, Iran, Tajikistan and Uganda between October 7 and 10 to mark the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 85th anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.

The federal secretary of the Left Bloc of the Austrian Trade Union Federation and other participants in round-table talk in Austria praised the ideo-theoretical feats of President Kim Il Sung who founded the immortal Juche idea.

They expressed full support and solidarity with the army and people of the DPRK in the efforts to hasten socialist construction and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the guidance of the WPK.

The general director of International Affairs of the Iranian Workers' House said at a round-table talk that the WPK is a revolutionary party as it is always adhering to the stand of independence against imperialism while struggling for global justice and progress.

The secretary of the Sogd Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan said in a lecture that the Korean revolution which started with the DIU has dynamically advanced along the road of independence, Songun and unity.

Leader Kim Jong Il is turning the DPRK into a country of single-minded unity and a big socialist family by inheriting Kim Il Sung's idea of unity and politics of love and benevolence, he added.
