Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea founded by President Kim Il Sung and led by General Secretary Kim Jong Il is the powerful driving force advancing the Korean revolution to victory and the organizer and guide of all the victories of the Korean people. The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said this in a joint statement on Oct. 10, the 66th founding anniversary of the WPK.

Kim Jong Il has developed the WPK into the party of Kim Il Sung by inheriting his Juche-oriented theory of the party building and feats, the statement said, and went on:

For more than six decades since its foundation the WPK has victoriously led the two social revolutions and several phases of socialist construction and built the best socialist system centered on the popular masses.

The WPK is a mother party taking care of the people's life with responsibility.

All popular policies including free education and medical care are in force in the DPRK.

The WPK will continue to achieve big success under the leadership of brilliant commander of Songun Kim Jong Il in the future, too.

A member of the National Executive Committee of the People's Party for the Reconstruction and the Democracy of Democratic Congo and Saber Ballul, head of Department of the Political Faculty of University of Damascus, released statements on Oct. 8 on the WPK founding anniversary. They said the WPK could emerge victorious thanks to the unity and cohesion of the party, absolute support and trust of the popular masses in the party and the unique Songun politics.
