Havana, October 17 (KCNA) -- Cuba's official daily Granma said Wednesday that the United States is preparing a "television war" against the island country to disrupt its telecom system.

Granma said Washington is "preparing a project to flood Cuban television with U.S. propaganda satellite programs," and the mastermind of the plan is the Global Communications company owned by David Rivel, an Israeli member of the World Teleport Association and the International Society of Satellite Professionals.

Rivel's client list includes major U.S. TV networks, such as Fox Sports, CNN, NBC and the Nickelodeon Network, but the campaign against Cuba would be commanded in Miami, said Granma.
