Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- The economic contradiction is intensified between the U.S. and Japan by severe imbalance of trade.

The U.S. trade deficit with Japan jumped 27.9 percent to $6.71 billion, the Commerce Department said with its research data on Thursday.
