Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between delegations of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Socialist Party of Benin here on Tuesday.

Present there from the Korean side were Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Vice Department Director Pak Kun Gwang and other officials of the C.C., the WPK and from the opposition side the delegation led by President of the Party Ali Houdou.

At the talks both sides informed each other of their party activities and exchanged views on the matter of further developing the relations between the two parties and issues of mutual concern.
