Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Governor of Amur Region of the Russian Federation Oleg Kozhemyako and his party laid a wreath before the Liberation Tower on Tuesday.

Accompanying them were So Kil Bok, vice-minister of Foreign Trade, Sim Kuk Ryong, DPRK consul-general in Nakhodka of Russia, officials concerned and the minister-councilor and official members of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang.

A wreath in the name of the governor was laid before the tower.

The guests paid silent tribute to the fallen fighters of the Russian army and looked round the tower.

The governor and his party visited the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm, the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Processing Factory and the construction site in Mansudae area on the same day.
