Tokyo, October 17 (KNS-KCNA) -- Kim Cha Dol, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, made public a statement on Oct. 14 in protest against sexual assaults against teenage girl students by the U.S. imperialist aggressor troops in south Korea. All the officials of the league and Korean youth and students in Japan are slashing at such immoral atrocities perpetrated by the U.S. imperialist aggressor troops against south Korean girl students, the statement noted, and went on: We fully support the just struggle of the south Korean youth and students and compatriots demanding apology from the U.S. president, punishment of GI criminals and pullout of the U.S. forces. The Korean youth and students in Japan have realized again through the recent cases that the U.S. imperialists are the root cause of all miseries and pains the Korean nation is suffering and its sworn enemy. We can no longer pardon the group of sycophantic traitors who are keen only on strengthening the subordinate alliance with the U.S. without uttering a word about demand for apology over the GIs' crimes and revision of the unequal "Status of Forces Agreement". The Korean youth and students in Japan will get united with the youth and students in the north and the south and abroad under the banner of "By our nation itself" and stand in the van of the nation-wide struggle to drive the U.S. forces out of south Korea and put an end to the fascist colonial rule. |
