Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- An agreement on establishing friendly relations between South Phyongan Province of the DPRK and Amur Region of the Russian Federation was signed here on Tuesday.

Present at the signing ceremony from the DPRK side were An Kuk Thae, chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, Sim Kuk Ryong, DPRK consul-general to Nakhodka of Russia, and officials concerned and from the opposition side Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of Amur Region, and his party, Ambassador Valery Sukhinin and officials of the Russian embassy here.

An Kuk Thae and Oleg Kozhemyako inked the agreement.
