Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- The France-Korea Friendship Association released a statement on October 11 condemning the GIs present in south Korea for their brutal sexual assaults against south Korean girl students.

Protest against GIs' sexual assaults committed in September is now gaining in scope across south Korea, the statement said, adding:

The south Korean people urge the authorities to revise the south Korea-U.S. "Status of Forces Agreement", holding that the agreement is a main factor of the crimes by the U.S. troops in south Korea.

At present the south Korean authorities are not in a position to take legal action against any GI criminal.

The south Korean people strongly demand the withdrawal of the U.S. troops, protesting the recent GIs' crimes.

The France-Korea Friendship Association condemns the GIs' crimes committed in south Korea.
