Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- Russian newspapers gave special write-ups to the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The 37th issue of Patriot carried photos of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and an article, which said:

Regarding the Juche idea as guideline for its activities, the WPK is enlisting the creative ingenuity of the popular masses.

The Korean people have turned out in socialist construction, rallied closer around Kim Jong Il and the WPK, overcoming all hardships and trials.

Kim Jong Il adopted the Songun politics for the first time in the world history to defend the sovereignty and independence of the country.

Now the WPK under his leadership is successfully carrying on socialist construction by putting forward the popular masses as master of everything and enlisting their creativity.

Kim Jong Il is a publicly recognized statesman and the leader of the most progressive party in the world.

Nakhodkinski Rabochi on Oct. 6 ran a photo of Kim Jong Il and an article telling about the secret of the invincibility of the WPK.
