Beijing, October 19 (KCNA) -- A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson commented on the Occupy Wall Street Movement going on in the United States.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Liu Weimin said China is paying attention to public opinion on the movement, which makes people think deeply.

"We hope that such public opinion will be helpful to a sound and pacific development of the world economy," Liu added.
