Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- Talks between delegations of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Communist Party of Vietnam were held in Pyongyang on Friday.

Present there from the WPK side were Kim Yong Il, secretary of the C.C., WPK, Vice Department Director Pak Kun Gwang and other officials of the WPK Central Committee and from the opposite side were members of the CPV delegation led by Hoang Binh Quan, chairman of the Commission for External Affairs of the Party Central Committee, and Le Quang Ba, Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK.

At the talks both sides informed each other of their party activities and exchanged views on the matter of further developing the relations between the two parties.

The talks proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.
