Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- Officials, labor innovators, scientists and technicians from South Hamgyong Province Friday visited the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm, Taedonggang Combined Fruit Processing Factory, Taedonggang Pig Farm, Taedonggang Net-weaving Factory and Taedonggang Terrapin Farm.

As they arrived at the farms and the factory, working people warmly welcomed them giving bouquets.

Being briefed on Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm, the visitors grasped the leadership feats of Kim Jong Il who has made efforts to supply the people with more fruits.

They went round the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Processing Factory which is on the high level of modernization and scientification and producing all kinds of fruit processing foods and high-class cosmetics.

At the Taedonggang Pig Farm they were deeply moved to see the farm, wealth of eternal value that has been put on a scientific and intensive basis as required by the new century.

Then, they went to the Taedonggang Net-weaving Factory where they looked round various production processes equipped with modern equipment including spinning process, large bobbin winding process and net-weaving process.

Their next stop was the Taedonggang Terrapin Farm.

Earlier on Thursday, they spent pleasant time at the Kaeson Youth Park which was wonderfully reconstructed as a cultural recreation ground for the people.
