Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- The chief of the General Staff of the south Korean navy inspected on Wednesday its 2nd fleet and the 6th brigade of the Marine Corps deployed along the coast and on islands in the West Sea of Korea, stirring up anti-DPRK war hysteria.

Visiting major bases, an observation center and other places on Paekryong Island, he underscored the need to get combat ready for the "north's provocations".

Recently the south Korean warlike forces are massively beefing up offensive armed forces on five islands and their surrounding waters in the West Sea of Korea and making open military provocations.

The chief's anti-DPRK remarks show the south Korean warmongers' deep-rooted awareness of confrontation with fellow countrymen and their war hysteria.
