Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- Heads of member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States signed the agreement on the free trade zone in Sankt－Petersburg, Russia on Oct. 18.

In this regard Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said in a press interview the conclusion of the agreement would make it possible to take an effective measure to accelerate the development of economy and trade among the member states and lay a firm groundwork for the further development of the commonwealth.
