Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers carried special write-ups with photos of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il to mark the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Articles praising the WPK were run in Lao papers Pasason, Vatelao, Vientiane Mai and Congtap Pasason Lao on October 10 and the Oct. 1-15 issue of Noum Lao and the Sept. 16-30 issue of Heng Ngan of this country.

They said the DPRK is working miracles of history in building a thriving nation under the worst adversity. The world clearly sees in this reality the truth that the Songun politics of the WPK is a treasured sword of invincibility for accomplishing the socialist cause, and the WPK under the leadership of Kim Jong Il will always emerge victorious, they stressed.

The Indian paper Defense and Humanity on Oct. 10 carried an article titled "Founder of WPK", which said that the WPK has led to victory the building of new society, the construction of socialism centered on the popular masses with the Juche idea created by Kim Il Sung as guideline. The President's exploits will shine long with the invincible dignity of the WPK, it added.

On the same day the Czech paper Halo Noviny carried an article titled "Founding Anniversary of WPK", which said the goal and activities of the WPK enjoy the absolute support from the Korean people.

Under the guidance of the WPK, the DPRK achieved the single-minded unity of whole society and its army is defending the country while taking active part in socialist construction, the paper stressed.
