Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Several agreed documents between governments of the DPRK and China, including an agreement on economic and technological cooperation, were signed with due ceremony in Pyongyang Sunday.

Present at the signing ceremony from the DPRK side were Vice-Minister of Foreign Trade Ku Pon Thae, Vice-Chairman of the Commission for Joint Venture and Investment Jong Jinsong, Ri Yong Sok, deputy director of the Secretariat of the Cabinet, and officials concerned.

On hand from the Chinese side were Chen Jian, vice-minister of Commerce, Wang Zhilin, economic and commercial councilor of the Chinese embassy and others concerned.

The documents were inked by Ku Pon Thae, vice-minister of Foreign Trade, and Jong Jin Song, vice chairman of the Joint Venture Investment Committee, upon authorization of the DPRK government and Chen Jian, vice-minister of Commerce upon authorization of the Chinese government.
