Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Jaju Minbo, Internet newspaper of south Korea, posted an article slamming the puppet group for its despicable action to quell the people's mindset in favor of the north.

The article accused the authorities of conducting a wholesale investigation into more than 70 people of various social standings including government employees, lawyers and professors these day on charges that they praised the north.

It is very shocking that so many people of broad strata are joining the ranks of pro-north supporters, it noted.

The article recalled that the above-said people in their articles posted on internet websites praised the history of the anti-Japanese armed struggle waged by President Kim Il Sung and the exploits performed by Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il and its military capability and scientific and technological achievements. They also spoke highly of the dignified diplomacy pursued by the DPRK, leading by the nose the U.S., a rogue state of imperialism engrossed in all sorts of arbitrary practices in various parts of the world.

It is barbarous for the authorities to quell the daily growing voices of the people praising the north, concluded the article.
