Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Tainted food in the U.S. has caused a great loss of human lives, arousing public criticism.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday that about 48 million people in the U.S. each year get sick from tainted food, with 3,000 deaths.
