Tehran, October 25 (KCNA) -- Rapporteur of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali said Sunday that sanctions imposed on Iran lacked legal foundation.

The MP made the remarks as regards the reports about imposing possible sanctions against Iran's Central Bank by the West.

Jalali said the sanctions were imposed based on a mistaken impression which said Iran's nuclear program had a non-civilian nature while Iran has repeatedly proved the peaceful nature of its nuclear activities at international organizations.
