Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- A flood that lasted for two weeks left 28 dead and 23 000 homeless in Honduras as of Saturday.

The total number of victims stands at 60,000.

More than 2,200 houses were partially damaged or destroyed, over 30 bridges and 112 roads ruined and 5,000 hectares of farmland inundated.

Heavy rain on Wednesday and Thursday has destroyed some roads, bridges and buildings in two regions of northwestern Sagaing and central Magway of Myanmar, official media confirmed Sunday.

106 people were dead by the flood in Magway region.
