Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- Onchon County, Nampho City, the DPRK, is famous for Sindok spring water.

The water, spouting out from 60-metre-deep granite stratum in Mt. Sindok, contains a large amount of minerals. Its PH is 7.2.

The Onchon Sindok Spring Water Factory, built under deep care of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, produces bottled mineral water sterilized by ozone and ultraviolet rays.

The mineral water is popular among local people as it is good for digestion.
