Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- Senator Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi of Pakistan on Monday strongly rejected a United Nations report on human rights in Iran.

The UN special rapporteur has alleged in a report that human rights violations have increased in Iran.

The senator branded the report as an incredible and baseless one.

He referred to Iran as a democratic country where people were free to express their opinion.

The political was of the view that UN has always towed U.S. policy and the dictation of U.S. was obvious in making of Shaheed's report.
