Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- The Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) published a book "President Kim Il Sung and Koreans in Japan" in commemoration of the centenary of birth of the President.

It carries a portrait of the smiling President.

It also edits pictures of the President and General Secretary Kim Jong Il receiving Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan who visited the socialist homeland.

It consists of 10 chapters including chapters "As a model of overseas Koreans' organizations in the era of independence", "Bringing the national education into full bloom", "Long voyage in the East Sea of Korea associated with loving care", "Profound trust and warm benevolence", and "For national reunification and international solidarity."

Each chapter has sub-titles.

The book tells stories that the President met delegations and visiting groups of Chongryon and its officials, intellectuals, workers in commerce and persons of culture, sportspersons, youth and students who visited the socialist homeland and Koreans in Japan who lead a happy life under the care of the homeland and had photos taken with them.

It also related stories about the efforts exerted by the President all his life for the development of Chongryon and the movement of Koreans in Japan, his precious instructions and warm loving care shown by him for the Koreans in Japan.

It reflects the firm faith and will of Chongryon officials and other Koreans in Japan to hold the President in high esteem forever and make a dynamic advance for the development of Chongryon and national reunification under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
