Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the C.C., People's Socialist Party of Mexico, made public a statement on Oct. 22 as regards the fact that General Secretary Kim Jong Il gave answers to questions put by the ITAR-TASS of Russia. In his answers Kim Jong Il clarified the prospect of the development of the DPRK-Russia relations, nuclear issue of the Korean Peninsula, resumption of the six-party talks, the DPRK's relations with the U.S. and Japan and other issues, the statement noted, saying: We hold that the U.S. should drop its hostile policy toward the DPRK and show good faith to the DPRK as urged by Kim Jong Il. Japan, which historically committed untold crimes against the Korean people, too, should make a bold decision to settle its inglorious past, roll back its hostile policy toward the DPRK and opt for mending the fence with it. |
