Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- A latest report on Tuesday showed that U.S. consumers felt more pessimistic about the economic outlook amid loft unemployment rate.

According to the New York-based Conference Board, its Consumer Confidence Index dropped to 39.8 in October, the lowest since March 2009.

One gauge of the index, which measures how Americans feel about the economy at the time of the survey, declined to 26.3 in October, from 33.3 in September.
