Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- Turkish police on Monday seized 163 kilograms of heroin in the southeastern province of Gaziantep, according to a report of the semi-official Anatolia news agency. The haul was seized in two separate operations in downtown Gaziantep, said the report, adding that two people were detained.

Meanwhile, Turkish security forces seized 283 kilograms of hashish in the southern province of Adana and southeastern province of Diyarbakir on the same day.

The police also arrested 18 in connection with the illicit drugs, said the report.
