Pyongyang, October 29 (KCNA) -- Artistes of the Phibada Opera Troupe of the DPRK staged the opera "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" at the Dong Fang Grand Theater in Changchun City, Jilin Province of China on Wednesday. It was the second day performance.

The director of the Office of the Commerce Department in Jilin Province said the performance was beyond imagination.

Even though the language was different, feelings helped understand the content of the opera, he said.

I had an opportunity to see the high level of art of the DPRK, he added.

The manager of the Production Company in Wuhan City said the performance was flawless, adding:

Music of the opera was created the way it could easily be understood by the Chinese people.

The level of composers is very high.

The first part of the opera stands in sharp contrast with the latter part which is most impressive.

Unique dances go also beyond imagination.

The head of the Jilin Provincial Symphony Orchestra said:

The performance evokes live response from the audience. The orchestral music, dance and pangchang (off-stage song) are perfect and of very high standard. The performance helps learn a lot.

The manager of the Jilin Provincial Production Company said:

Many foreign art groups gave performances in Jilin Province.

Among them, the DPRK art group is most popular.

I will do my best to provide everything needed for the performance if the DPRK art groups visit Jilin.

The state first class actor who is vocal teacher of the Northeast University of Education said the opera was created and completed under the deep care of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, extending thanks to him for sending such a good art troupe to China.
